Jurisprudence and its Foundation Department is established in (2005-2006) in Islamic Sciences College in Anbar University. Six batch of undergraduate student obtained the bachelor degree the, first one was in (2008-2009). The college offers Master Degree program in Jurisprudence and its Foundations in (2014-2015). We intend to offer Ph.D. program in future time.

Jurisprudence (Figih) is one of the important Islamic sciences. It is called halal and haram science, law and rules. Allah the Almighty says "He grants Hikmah to whom He pleases, and he, to whom Hikmah is granted, is indeed granted abundant good. But none remember (will receive admonition) except men of understanding." Al Baqra, verse number 269) Some interpreters say that this verse refers to Figih.

Admission Requirements

  • Adopting the admission requirements for students in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (central admission).
  • Approval of the personal interview for the students by the Dean of the College and the assistants.
  • To be fit for a medical examination.
  • Student average in high school.
  • The absorptive capacity of the college.
