Our MSc in Computer Science covers all aspects of technologies and user environments, giving you the industry-level skills to create and manage IT solutions.
Study on our Cambridge campus and gain practical experience in our advanced computing laboratories. You’ll learn to create web applications, develop Artificial Intelligence models and the advantages of using ontologies. Before starting the course, we strongly recommend that you have working knowledge of database and programming, in languages such as Java, C# or Python.
As well as our 13 and 20 month full-time course options, there’s also the option to study with us for two years and gain valuable experience in Year 2, with a choice of professional experience modules. Through this, you’ll gain valuable employability skills as you apply your knowledge in a real-life industry setting.
Our Masters degree will keep you up-to-date with the latest topics and developments in areas such as web applications and data science.
By the end of this postgraduate course in computer science you’ll have experience covering the full life cycle of a web application and be able to apply this knowledge to the development of any type of software application. A first degree, with honours, in a related subject and at a minimum final classification of lower second (2:2) or equivalent.
