A first degree, with honours, in Equine Science or a related subject such as Animal Science, Zoology, Bioveterinary Science or Veterinary Nursing and at a minimum final classification of lower second (2:2). Degrees in therapy-related fields, including Equine Sports Therapy, Animal Therapy, or Human Sports Therapy, are also accepted. Applicants with a 2:1 or First-Class Honours degree in another science discipline are encouraged to apply.

If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
