Qualifications
  • 112-96 UCAS Tariff points. We accept A Levels, T Levels, BTECs, OCR, Access to HE and most other qualifications within the UCAS Tariff. Preferably to include Drama, Performing Arts or related subject at A level or equivalent level.
  • 3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English.
  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
  • You will be asked to provide a digital portfolio for review and will be given the option to book a meeting to discuss this with us.

Audition
As part of the application process, you will be asked to make and share a video self-tape of your performance of a short piece from a contemporary published play or screenplay. For guidance on how to prepare for this, please visit our auditions page.

To join the first year of our undergraduate course you’ll need one of the following.
  • GCE A levels from a recognised UK examination board.
  • An International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points.
  • A university foundation course recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
  • Relevant qualifications obtained in your home country: see our country-specific entry requirements.
  • For some courses there may be additional requirements, such as portfolios for art and design courses. These are outlined in our undergraduate course pages.
