Admission requirements

Applicants for the Master of Communication (with or without specialisations) must meet the following Admission Requirements:

● Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or above (or AQF equivalent) in Communication or related discipline with a GPA of 5 (credit average) or above
OR
● Successful completion of a Graduate Certificate or above (or AQF equivalent) in Communication or related discipline

Note: Students entering the Master of Communication with an Honours degree, Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma in Communication (or equivalent) will receive 32 points of credit for recognition of prior learning and will only need to complete 64 credit points.

English Language Proficiency
An Academic IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 with no individual score below 6 or a qualification deemed by CSU to be equivalent. (See Concordance Tables)

Additional Course Requirements
Applicants without tertiary qualifications or with an insufficient GPA must successfully complete the Graduate Certificate of Communication prior to admission to the Master of Communication.
