This course is offered ONLY to domestic students.The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) − Industry Entry offers opportunity for significant credit toward a teaching degree in a number of secondary school discipline specialisations. Relevant industry knowledge and experience gained through study and in the workplace may result in up to one third of the degree being credited through the university's recognition process. This recognition values what students bring to the course, and makes becoming a teacher more readily attainable. This courses aims to meet the future employment demands for secondary English, human society and its environment (HSIE), mathematics, science, and technology and applied studies (TAS) teachers. Gain the knowledge and skills required to teach Years 7 to 12 in your teaching area(s). You'll develop professional knowledge and values, including how to develop learning activities, monitor and assess student progress and learning activities, and employ appropriate teaching and learning technologies pertinent to your field.
