Students will choose a major high school teaching area from business studies, English, mathematics, modern history or science. Students at Port Macquarie are able to major in business studies, English, mathematics or modern history. From the third year, students can choose to study completely online or remain on campus. Your degree includes studies in all key learning areas for teaching kindergarten to Year 6. It also includes studies for one major in a secondary teaching area. You can choose a major from biology, HSIE/business studies, chemistry (not available at Port Macquarie), drama, English, HSIE/geography, HSIE/legal studies, mathematics, HSIE/modern history, PDHPE (only available on campus at Bathurst), physics (not available at Port Macquarie), or visual arts.
