The Vision of the Marketing Department from Covenant University is to train a new generation of Business Practitioners and Scholars that would assume leadership roles and establish themselves as significant trailblazers in their world. BSc in Marketing will help the marketing professionals to critically analyse and evaluate the micro and macro factors that impact an organisation within the global economy. The BSc Marketing degree uses international marketing models, concepts and theories to develop strategic marketing policies and actionable plans that build long-term competitive advantage for a brand or organisation. Understand the Strategic Marketing Process and the impact of social and cultural diversity in shaping the complexity of the world today, and how that translates into marketing challenges and best practices. This course addresses how to design and implement the best combination of marketing efforts to carry out a firm's strategy in its target markets. Specifically, this course seeks to develop the student's (1) understanding of how the firm can benefit by creating and delivering value to its customers, and stakeholders, and (2) skills in applying the analytical concepts and tools of marketing to such decisions as segmentation and targeting, branding, pricing, distribution, and promotion.

General Requirements The minimum entry requirements for admission into Covenant University are credit level passes in five (5) subjects at the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO or its equivalent, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects passed must include English Language, Mathematics and Economics. Duration: 4 years, Degree: B.Sc. Requirements: Candidates must possess credit passes in five (5) subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Economics and any two (2) Social Science or Commercial Subjects. JAMB Subject Combination: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject
