The philosophy underlying the B.Sc. Political Science Degree programme is to produce a flow of competent and confident graduate students whose minds are well developed and who are intellectually sound in the field of Political Science, and who can make meaningful contributions to the political and socio-economic development of Nigeria, Africa and indeed the entire world.
The general requirements for admission into Political Science of the Department are the same as those for entry into Covenant University. However, candidates must, in addition, take note of the various requirements for the programmes in the Department. Candidates must possess O/L, SSCE/GCE/NECO credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings, including Mathematics, English Language, Economics, Government or History and one other subject.
