The management major prepares students to lead and coordinate people, activities, and systems to achieve organizational goals through focusing on the critical functions of managers: planning, organizing, controlling, and directing. There is no typical career path for management majors. The knowledge and skills developed through the major provide students career flexibility. Other English language requirements: A score of 500 in paper based of the TOEFL examination; A minimum score of at least 69 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB).
