Students will gain a marketable edge through field and speciality courses focused on labour, natural resources and industrial organisation. Mathematics is a large component of many of Lakehead’s Economics courses. This Four Year Non-Direct Entry program has similar requirements to the HBA (Economics Major) program except that students shall not take the honours thesis (ECON 4901) and will take instead two half-courses in Economics at the third or fourth year level, as indicated below. In order to remain in the program, students must maintain at least an overall C average in the major.
