The study of environmental issues is becoming increasingly multidisciplinary, taking into consideration socio-economic, cultural and political actions and consequences in addition to scientific analysis. Students will learn to understand and evaluate environmental issues and solutions from a multitude of perspectives. They will gain the business skills, scientific expertise and practical experience needed to solve modern environmental and sustainability challenges. Graduates of a 3-year diploma program in Environmental Technology from an Ontario college, with a minimum average of 75%, may be considered for admission into the Honours Bachelor of Environmental Science (Biology Major). Qualified applicants are eligible for third year standing in the Honours Bachelor of Environmental Science (Biology Major) program and will receive a block transfer of 10 non-transferable FCEs toward the 20 FCEs required for the program.
