The two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) Professional program (Primary/Junior) allows people who have an approved undergraduate degree to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes as well as earn the qualifications to teach in Ontario. This program combines in-class learning with practical teaching experiences to help students to develop the pedagogical theories and practices that are necessary to meet the needs to learners. This program is delivered at Orillia campus and aims to equip students to teach in the Primary/Junior (P/J) division. Upon completion of this two-year BEd program, students will be recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) for certification to teach Kindergarten to Grade 6 in Ontario.
