BA in Languages

General Arts program has fifteen departments, within the Faculty of Social Science & Humanities. The degree is aimed particularly at the mature student. As instruments of communication and discovery, languages open a window on the diversity of the human experience. Language program at Lakehead offers advanced level knowledge of French, introductory level knowledge in Finnish, German, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin. Students will be exposed to various cultures and acquire knowledge and develop communication skills and critical thinking in a creative learning environment.
