General Arts program has fifteen departments, within the Faculty of Social Science & Humanities. The degree is aimed particularly at the mature student. The central part of North Studies program is international
networking and opportunities. Students will take courses with students from
across the circumpolar world and have the opportunity to participate in the
north2north mobility program. This exchange program allows students to spend
between 4-8 months studying at a University of the Arctic partner institution
in the following countries/regions: Finland; Greenland; Iceland; Norway; Russia;
Sweden.
