The University requirements for bachelor’s degrees as described in the Undergraduate Education section of this catalog; 120 credits, including general elective credits, are required for the Bachelor of Arts degree in education. Students who are admitted to the Elementary Teacher Certification Program and who choose to complete the requirements for the Integrated Science Teaching Major may complete an alternate track to Integrative Studies in Biological and Physical Sciences that consists of Biological Science 161 and 171 and Chemistry 141, all of which are required courses in the Integrated Science Teaching Major.
