Each PhD student is assigned a scientific supervisors who provides guidance on research topic, methodology, publications, and research stages. Regular meetings and progress reports help monitor advancement and adjust the research plan.
PhD students at OshSU may participate in two week internships abroad through academic exchange and international projects. The university supports mobility to enhance research experience and establish international cooperation.
PhD students are required to publish their research results in international peer-reviewed journals (including Scopus or Web of Science). Minimum requirements depend on the specific program
PhD students have access to the OshSU library, electronic databases, specialized laboratories, and university research facilities. Collaboration with external research centers and organizations is also possible.
The defence process includes: approval of the dissertation topic, interim reports on the progress of work, preliminary discussion at the department, publication of results, submission of the dissertation to the expert commission and its public defence.
