1. When applying for a specialty, applicants must have
one of the following documents:
- secondary general education certificate;
- initial vocational education diploma (if a secondary
general education certificate is available);
- secondary vocational education diploma.
2. When implementing the educational program in
accordance with this educational standard, within the framework of this field
of study, higher education at the specialist level can be mastered in the
following forms:
- full-time (students can successfully combine
professional activities with study, mastering part of the educational program
in a flexible online format);
- distance learning 3. The total workload of the educational program in
the specialty 520200 Biology for specialist training is 240 credit units,
regardless of the form of study, educational technologies used, or the
student's individual study plan, including accelerated study.
4. The standard duration of full-time education is
four years for specialists, including vacations provided after passing the
state final examination.
5. For distance learning, the standard duration of
study, regardless of the educational technologies used, is increased from 6
(six) months to 1 (one) year compared to the duration of study established for
full-time study.
6. The volume of classes in the form of study must be
at least 16 hours per week.
7. The duration of education according to an
individual student's study plan is determined on the basis of internal
regulations of educational institutions on academic policy and the organization
of the educational process.
8. When organizing the educational process using
credit technology, the volume of each academic discipline is a whole number of
academic credits. The workload of all types of educational work in the curriculum
is indicated in ECTS credits. One ECTS credit is equal to 30 academic hours
(including classroom work, independent work, and all types of assessment). The
duration of an academic hour is 45 minutes.
9. The workload of the main educational program of
higher professional education in full-time form of training for the academic
year is at least 60 credits, and for one academic semester is at least 30
credits.
10. The workload of
the main educational program in the form of distance learning, as well as using
various distance learning technologies, for one academic year is at least 48
credits for a bachelor's degree.
11. The standard
duration of study in an accelerated form of education, regardless of the
educational technologies used, is at least 3 years. When enrolling in an
accelerated form of education, the educational institution creates a
commission, involving teachers from the graduating departments in the field of
Biology, which determines the relevance of the student's previous education.
12. Persons with
secondary vocational education in the relevant field are granted the right by
the educational institution to study accelerated programs, taking into account
the recognition of the results of their previous education and training.
13. When using online
learning, it is not permitted to organize all types of practical training and
final state certification online.
