Graduates are awarded a higher education diploma with the academic degrees of “bachelor” and “master.” The standard duration of study based on secondary general education is four years for full-time study, five years for part-time study, and two years for master's programs.

The total workload for the program is 240 credits for a bachelor's degree and 120 credits for a master's degree.

     The program's educational goals:

-    to train teachers who can handle the professional challenges of continuous competency-based education in a fast-changing world;

-    training in the fundamentals of natural sciences, obtaining a higher professional specialized education that allows graduates to successfully solve professional tasks in a rapidly changing world and conduct research and development aimed at improving socio-economic processes and phenomena at the micro and macro levels, both in Kyrgyzstan and abroad, and to possess universal and subject-specific   competencies that contribute to their social mobility and sustainability in the labor market.

The goal in the field of personal development:

-    development of students' social and personal qualities: determination, organization, responsibility, citizenship, communication skills, tolerance, etc., improvement of general culture, striving for self-realization and self-improvement in the profession within the framework of continuing education and self-education.

The objects of professional activity for graduates in the field of 550100 Natural Science Education are: the educational process, the educational environment, student activities, and their own teaching activities.

Types of professional activity for graduates: teaching, organizational and managerial, and professional development.

Professional tasks of graduates

In the field of teaching:

-    using systems of scientific knowledge about the surrounding world, perceiving different views, cultural diversity, knowledge and understanding of the concept of sustainable development.

-           Planning and implementation of the educational process in accordance with the needs and achievements of students using modern, scientifically based teaching technologies.

-    Use of various tools and criteria for assessing student achievement (abstracts, reports, theses, essays, portfolios, case studies, etc.).

-    Carrying out applied research activities to solve situation-specific problems (under supervision).

-    Independent selection of an educational program, selection and development of teaching materials for it, and use in the educational process based on pedagogical reflection.

-    Formation of value orientations in students necessary for life in a democratic society: civic and patriotic convictions of tolerance, cultural diversity, social rights, acceptance of inclusion.

-    Planning, monitoring, and evaluation of student activities.

- Activities in a semi-cultural environment and implementation of the principles of multicultural education and upbringing.

- Creation of conditions for socialization and professional self-determination of students, preparing them for a conscious choice of profession.

- Creating a safe (psychological, social, and physical) educational environment for learning, developing skills in students of different ages for healthy lifestyles, nature conservation, energy conservation, rational use of natural resources, and adaptation to climate change.

- Planning lessons for the subject (subjects) taking into account the specifics of the topics and sections of the program and in accordance with the standard.

- Developing students' ability to reflect, self-assess, and self-develop.

In the field of organizational and managerial activities:

- Use of regulatory and legal knowledge and adherence to ethical principles in the performance of professional activities.

- Ability to take into account the principles of sustainable development in the performance of professional activities, creating conditions for the protection of the health and safety of students in the educational process.

- Organizing interaction with public and educational organizations, children's groups, and parents to solve problems in professional activities.
