- Under 18 before September 1, 2026: submit a Guardian Commitment Letter; scholarship applicants must meet age requirements.
- Language requirements: HSK Level 5 ≥ 180; Chinese Language bachelor's: HSK Level 4 ≥180 (waiver via Chinese-medium instruction certificate).
Master’s Programs & Doctoral Programs
- Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport.
- Physically and mentally healthy.
- For master's programs: hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent; for doctoral programs: hold a master's degree or equivalent.
- No disciplinary, security, or criminal records.
- Scholarship applicants must meet the specified age requirements.
- Language requirements:
- Chinese-taught: HSK Level 5 ≥180; MTCSOL: Level 5 ≥210 + HSKK Intermediate ≥60 (waiver via Chinese-medium instruction certificate).
- English-taught: TOEFL iBT ≥79 (each ≥15) or IELTS Academic ≥6.5 (each ≥5.5) (non-native speakers; waiver via English-medium instruction certificate).
- Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport, complying with the Chinese Ministry of Education's Notice.
