Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport, complying with the Chinese Ministry of Education's Notice.
Physically and mentally healthy.
Senior high school graduate or equivalent.
No disciplinary, security, or criminal records.
Under 18 before September 1, 2026: submit a Guardian Commitment Letter; scholarship applicants must meet age requirements.
Language requirements: HSK Level 5 ≥ 180; Chinese Language bachelor's: HSK Level 4 ≥180 (waiver via Chinese-medium instruction certificate).

Master’s Programs & Doctoral Programs

Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport.
Physically and mentally healthy.
For master's programs: hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent; for doctoral programs: hold a master's degree or equivalent.
No disciplinary, security, or criminal records.
Scholarship applicants must meet the specified age requirements.
Language requirements:

Chinese-taught: HSK Level 5 ≥180; MTCSOL: Level 5 ≥210 + HSKK Intermediate ≥60 (waiver via Chinese-medium instruction certificate).
English-taught: TOEFL iBT ≥79 (each ≥15) or IELTS Academic ≥6.5 (each ≥5.5) (non-native speakers; waiver via English-medium instruction certificate).
