Admission Requirements

To be accepted into the Faculty of Nursing, applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must hold a high school diploma (scientific high school) from the same year of application, issued by a Libyan school, or an equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. The applicant must meet the minimum percentage required for admission to the faculty. The applicant must uphold the values and principles of the community. The applicant must have a good conduct and behavior record. The applicant must successfully pass the personal interview, and any entrance exams conducted by the faculty for selection purposes. The applicant must not have been expelled from any faculty or institute for academic or ethical reasons. The applicant must attend as a full-time student and cannot hold a job that conflicts with their studies. The faculty does not accept high school diplomas from years prior to the registration year, regardless of the applicant’s grades, except with the approval of the University Registrar, under the following conditions: The applicant must have obtained a high school grade that is not less than the minimum grade accepted for the academic year they are applying for. The applicant must meet all the conditions. The admission decision will be based on calculating 50% of the applicant’s total entrance exam score and 50% of their high school final grade. The Faculty Council reserves the right to amend or add any clause in this section in accordance with approved regulations.
