The PhD in History program aims to train researchers and teachers with the competencies to generate scientific and transdisciplinary knowledge that will influence the formulation of strategies and recommendations to address national and international problems. Researchers capable of overcoming typical temporal and geographical cuts, focusing on historical processes. Specific objectives include: applying the methodology of historical research; identifying and understanding historical processes in relation to current situations through interdisciplinary work; carrying out relevant historical research, based on theoretical and historiographical reflection; AND integrating knowledge of history in different media and formats (media, museums, cultural centers, third sector organizations, etc.).
