The master's program aims to equip professionals with the skills to advocate for and safeguard human rights across diverse domains. Grounded in a comprehensive understanding of Mexican, foreign, and international legal systems, as well as various national, regional, and universal protection mechanisms, graduates will be empowered to ensure the fulfillment of human rights. Specific objectives include: applying human rights standards rooted in principles of human dignity, equality, non-discrimination, and freedom; developing strategies for the promotion and defense of human rights by integrating normative, jurisprudential, and doctrinal perspectives; identifying and implementing comprehensive reparations for harm resulting from human rights violations, informed by diagnostic assessments; AND formulating human rights defense mechanisms, utilizing both jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional approaches, before national, regional, and universal bodies.
