We seek to respond to the need to innovate, design and manufacture mechanical systems through an adequate integration of human and material resources, thus promoting a positive effect that dignifies the work of human beings, in harmony with the world and its environment.  Our graduates are trained to analyze, design, and build innovative mechanical systems. In addition, they collaborate through engineering design for the efficient use of preferably renewable and sustainable energies.  To be admitted into a graduate program, students must pass the Exam III (CENEVAL), which is an exam in Spanish required for admission. The exam may be taken at the IBERO or at CENEVAL centers throughout Mexico.

 International students who do not live in Mexico may take the exam after their arrival at the university on the first date the exam is offered at the university.
