Students of acting and design study concepts of theatre together while working in their areas of specialization. Focus is on the collaboration and synthesis of theatre artistry. Each incoming class is composed of approximately 12 to 18 students in acting and all design areas. The project in lieu of thesis includes research, analysis, rehearsal process, and evaluation. Development and execution of the project includes public performance (acting or design). The written document and oral defense of the project which follow must demonstrate the ability to communicate the creative process.
