This course builds on the knowledge you've gained during the Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health), allowing high-achieving students to plan and carry out a supervised research project. This course is for current Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health) students. Graduates who complete this degree with a Psychosexual Therapy pathway meet the sexological requirements for accreditation with the Society of Australian Sexologists. Components of the degree count towards formal study requirements for the Advanced Training of the Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. This course prepares graduates to work in advanced and specialist positions in sexual and reproductive health, depending on your pathway. Career field options include: fertility medicine, fertility specialist, HIV medicine, psychosexual therapy, reproductive medicine, sexual health counseling, medicine and nursing, and women's health.

Admission to the Master of Medicine (Advanced) (Sexual and Reproductive health) requires: completion of the requirements for the Master of Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health), an average mark of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream units of study, and any other requirements as stated by the Faculty at the time of application.
