The Master of Science in Medicine (Clinical Neurophysiology) aims to provide structured educational programs in neurophysiological monitoring to complement experiential learning in the workplace. This course is designed for scientists, trainee scientists and those with appropriate qualifications seeking to work in neurophysiology laboratories and clinics. This course will help graduates develop expertise on: the theoretical principles and practical application of commonly employed techniques in clinical neurophysiology and working efficiently in diagnostic and perioperative settings. The course is delivered largely online with all CLNP units of study (except Basic Sciences in Clinical Neurophysiology & Neuromonitoring in Anaesthesia) incorporating compulsory intensive face-to-face teaching sessions in Sydney.

Admission to the course requires: successful completion of an embedded degree program (graduate certificate or graduate diploma) with a minimum credit average; or a bachelor degree in a health or science-related discipline with honours; or a bachelor degree plus a postgraduate degree in a health or science-related discipline. Applicants must also provide evidence of at least 12 months of relevant work experience.
