This is the coursework component of the combined Master of Veterinary Studies/Master of Veterinary Clinical Studies degree, which forms the clinical residency program in Veterinary Science. Students undertaking this course must concurrently enrol in the Master of Veterinary Clinical Studies course. Places in this program are only available to postgraduate students who have been offered a place in one of the designated clinical streams after a vacancy has been advertised. The School of Veterinary Science's combined Master of Veterinary Studies/Master of Veterinary Clinical Studies degree offers practical advanced clinical training in selected disciplines for veterinarians who want to enhance their clinical skills and/or seek to become veterinary specialists.

Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on academic merit and relevant professional experience, according to the following admissions criteria: A Bachelor of Veterinary Science with Honours or equivalent, such as a masters degree which is recognised by the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board (relevant professional experience in the relevant stream is desirable); Full registration, or Registration with conditions, or Limited Registration with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board for the entire duration of the candidature; Admission to candidature will be conditional upon the appointment of an appropriate clinical supervisor and associate supervisor. Merit factors and professional experience required.
