Program Objective
The Bachelor’s Program in International Relations (050201) is designed to produce highly skilled professionals well-grounded in political, economic, legal, and diplomatic aspects of the world. The students will be trained to develop the skills of a critical and analytical thinker, the ability to communicate in different languages, and the overall professional competence needed to work efficiently in the international relations sector of either the public or the private domain.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:
- Analyze and evaluate contemporary international political processes, systems, and security issues.
- Understand the historical evolution of international relations and its impact on modern global affairs.
- Conduct comparative studies of political systems, regimes, and foreign policies across different regions.
- Apply theories of international relations, diplomacy, and conflict resolution to real-world situations.
- Understand the legal framework of international relations, including international treaties and organizations.
- Assess economic dimensions of international relations, including global trade, finance, and integration processes.
- Develop strategic thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills in international and diplomatic contexts.

and Foreign Languages, Philosophy, Sociology, Information Technologies, etc.)
- Core
Professional Courses: 120 ECTS
(Political Geography, History of International Relations, Political Theory,
Comparative Political Systems, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Relations
Theory, Modern Diplomacy, International Security, Integration Processes,
International Law, Economics, International Economic Relations, etc.)
- Elective
Courses: 60 ECTS
(Selected by the higher education institution based on specialization and
student interest)
- Internship
/ Practical Training: 30 ECTS
(Conducted in government institutions, international organizations, NGOs, or
private sector entities)
