The EMBA program at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is jointly planned by several colleges, and it aims to recruit executives in various fields. Curriculum design focuses on “Global Vision”, “Innovation”, “Flexible Integration”, and “Technology”, or together “GIFT”, to grow leaders with visions and innovation capability.
The EMBA program has prominent features in its curriculum, hardware resources, and students excelling in various professional fields who can share their valuable experience through seminars, company visits, and extracurricular activities.
(1) Entrepreneur seminar
Hosted by students, the course covers a variety of topics in entrepreneurial and professional experience sharing, for examples, Global Logistics, international procurement practices, bookstore entrepreneurial experience, development of semiconductor industry, development of consumer IC, automation management of fab, entrepreneurial experience in China, entrepreneurial experience in packaging industry, hospital management, and others.
(2) Company visits
Arranged by students, cross-industry learning inspires more innovative business management ideas. Company visited were, Shihlin Electric, Maxxis Tires, Chia Jei, Alpha Networks, Chroma, Syscom, Accton, Winbond, Yulon, Hermes-Epitek, Synnex, and others.
(3) Extracurricular exchanges
In knowledge aspect, students study English together, discuss business management cases, and field visits. In leisure, there are sports, peers, and family days to maintain connection and establish tighter personal networks. Here, we not only provide knowledge courses, but invaluable business and life lessons that every student can share with each other.
