The Bachelor of Biological Science and Technology combines molecular biology, biochemistry, information, genetic engineering, microelectronics, optoelectronics, machinery, materials, medicine, electronic engineering and other fields. It focuses on the integration of theory and practice in teaching, and actively promote cross-domain learning methods. This bachelor also focuses on forward-looking research, combining research and development units with the industry. Based on outstanding research performance, it provides students with a high-quality learning environment, cultivates students with cross-disciplinary scientific knowledge and leadership skills, and promotes students' foreign exchanges and develops students' international outlook. The department currently has 41 full-time teachers dedicated to the teaching and research of the department, and more than 90% of the teachers receive special research awards from the National Academy of Sciences every year.
