The Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia through the Academic Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Professional School of Medical Technology seeks to provide a comprehensive proposal to the management needs through prospective, corrective, reactive and compensatory programs and projects of disaster risk due to the different emergencies that have occurred. in the country, the commitments assumed, the generation of risk conditions and the advances in the implementation of the national system, have identified the existence of limitations in different degrees of complexity.
The Academic Unit's mission is the training of professionals with the capacity to perform in diverse and changing scenarios, to research and we are linked to society by providing quality services and with social responsibility, based on ethical, humanistic and scientific bases.
The Curricular Plan of the Master's Degree in Disaster Risk Management and Local Resilience has the purpose of responding to the country's demands, they will receive training to perform adequately in multisectoral areas as future humanitarian workers and in disaster risk management processes according to the System National Disaster Risk Management and current international commitments.
