In recent times, significant technological progress has been seen in the pharmaceutical industry, with globalization as one of the driving forces. This has allowed the development, manufacture, preparation and commercialization of medicinal chemicals for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. On the other hand, it has also increased the international competitiveness of pharmaceutical products. Additionally, the different countries constantly promote changes in national and international pharmaceutical legislation; all of them aimed at ensuring the quality of processes and products. This implies constant updating, training and development of skills and specialization of Pharmaceutical Chemists and other professionals who work in this sector.
In this context, the Progressive Certification Program in Pharmaceutical Technology is presented. This program is developed with a Diploma that would be obtained the first year and then continue with the Master's degree, which would be developed in an additional year. This progressive certification would allow the Pharmaceutical Chemist and others in related areas to have high-level preparation in academic, technical, research, innovation and technology transfer aspects. All this guaranteed by the active participation of outstanding teachers and researchers, with extensive experience in the area.
An additional aspect that enhances this proposal is the internationalization component, considering that it will be carried out jointly with professionals from the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain, a university that has an excellent track record in developing similar programs.
