The Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) has been training specialized researchers in the field of immunology for approximately 20 years, after an analysis we have identified that there is a growth of applicants to the program from the interior of the country and from some Latin American countries, which is why the UPCH has considered developing the Master's Degree in Immunology in the distance or remote modality to meet the demand of this growing segment of professionals. The Master's Degree in Immunology has the objective of strategically preparing the student to know advanced concepts about the functioning of the immune system and the mechanisms of evasion of microorganisms, and with this, anticipate and respond efficiently to events of change and risk such as the one that we had to face the COVID-19 pandemic, learn about molecular and bioinformatics developments, development of regenerative cell therapies, which are revolutionizing the clinical and pharmacotherapeutic approach. In addition, the Master's Degree in Immunology seeks to develop capacities for the analysis, proposal, execution and dissemination of basic and applied research projects in the field of immunology; strengthening research, development and innovation skills, generating new knowledge through theses and research papers.
