The current context of the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of strengthening primary care as the central response of the health system to any global event.

Health systems present constant challenges, and a large number of countries have made the decision to guide the health care of their citizens based on primary health care that constantly evolves and innovates; Peru is no stranger to this process, even more so, considering the situation of morbidity and mortality, the demo-epidemiological transition and respect for the rights of citizens to equitable, fair, inclusive and quality services.

The Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia contributes to the training of competent professionals for healthcare work, teaching, research and management of health services linked to primary care, with knowledge, skills and abilities, so that they promote the actions of all stakeholders at the macro-management, meso-management, micro-management level and in the work environment in health teams. To contribute to this end, the university offers the "Master's Degree in Primary Health Care".

This master's degree provides its participants with skills, abilities and skills that allow them to carry out primary care from where they work; providing them with potentialities that provide the understanding and analysis of humanized and people-centered care as a means for maximizing well-being.

In this program, a research work is carried out that after the support and defense is obtained the Master's Degree in Primary Health Care. We extend a cordial welcome to all interested professionals.
