The Master of Medicine (Advanced) (Internal Medicine) builds on the knowledge gained during the Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine), allowing high-achieving students to plan and carry out a supervised research project. This course is designed for medical graduates who have completed the requirements for the Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) and are interested in emergency medicine, intensive care medicine or adult general practice. The program has been designed to enable you to diagnose, investigate and manage the common and important adult diseases of the organ systems. Admission to the course requires: completion of the requirements for the Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine); an average mark of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream units of study; and any other requirements as stated by the Faculty at the time of application.
