Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages

This program is dedicated to the study of the different processes and aspects of the education and teaching of this language, promoting the training of teachers trained to design, analyze, guide and evaluate curricular models and the teaching-learning process, with optimal management of the language, covering the existing demand for professionals in this area. This new academic offer consists of 50% of the subjects taught in English, pre-professional internships from the first semester of the degree, preparation modules for language proficiency certification exams, Quichua modules and professional specialization focused on four educational axes : Curriculum, teaching, assessment, technology. The degree in English Language Pedagogy may fulfill various roles as facilitator, tutor, academic coordinator, trainer or advisor at different levels of education, such as: Initial education; Basic education; English modules in universities; and Language institutes. In addition, the career of Pedagogy in the English language trains professionals with access to continuous teaching programs and international internships.
