The masters programme in Management Engineering is the perfect match for you if you are interested in working with management systems, value chain and supply chain management. The focus is on data analytics, configuration and use of information systems, advanced technologies and management theory to improve organisational effectiveness and efficiency within service, healthcare and manufacturing industries. The study programme is organised as two overlapping specialisations – to enter the programme, you need to select one of them: Operations and Innovation Management or Operations and Supply Chain Management.
PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING (PBL)
Aalborg University is famous for its problem based learning where you work in teams on large projects often in collaboration with an industrial partner, aimed at developing a management engineering solution to a real company problems. This study method is also called “The Aalborg Model for Problem Based Learning (PBL)”. The method is highly recognised internationally, and the university is host to a successful UNESCO chair in Problem Based Learning in Engineering Education and a Centre for PBL and Sustainability approved by UNESCO.

A range of technical/engineering bachelor degrees in business or industrial engineering fulfill the admission requirements. Please see the degrees in the curriculum. Students with another technical/engineering bachelor degree may be admitted, if the applicant is considered as having comparable educational prerequisites. The University can stipulate requirements concerning conducting additional exams prior to the start of study.
