International Business Communication in English is a 3-year bachelor's program focusing on English and communication in companies and organizations. It is primarily a language and communication education, and it is an internationally oriented education where you learn how companies best communicate professionally with people and markets in other cultures.
You practice English by translating, writing and speaking it in different contexts, eg in business and web communication  You learn both how to create a website and how to write good (web) texts for that company's target audience. You will also be trained in oral communication in English, so you can be in contact with international customers and other stakeholders. You also gain cultural understanding, company understanding and knowledge of how companies act in the market, eg how they market themselves.

Aalborg University offers interdisciplinary studies where bachelor courses (basic study programmes) are followed by masters and Ph.D. courses (subsequent specialisation). The university offers 10 different undergraduate programmes in English across five faculties:

  • The Faculty of Humanities
  • The Technical Faculty of IT and Design

Each of the five faculties has its own schools with full time bachelor education spanning over three years and designed to prepare students for master and Ph.D. education at a high academic and international level.
