Admission to the master's programme in Lighting Design requires documented knowledge of Mathematics equivalent to at least Mathematics B level and one of the following degrees, among others:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) in  Art & Technology, Aalborg University
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in  Medialogy, Aalborg University (Aalborg and Copenhagen)
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in  IT, Communication and New Media, Aalborg University Copenhagen
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in  Electronics and Computer Engineering, Aalborg University Esbjerg
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in  Sustainable Design, Aalborg University Copenhagen
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in  Architecture and Design, Aalborg University

Bachelor's degrees within architecture, design, sustainable design, structural engineering and building design may also qualify for the postgraduate programme in Lighting Design. If your bachelor's degree does not immediately qualify for the master's programme in Lighting Design, your application will be assessed by the Study Board of Media Technology.
