As an energy engineer, you will be able to work concretely with the development of the sustainable energy systems of the future. An energy system is all components related to the production, conversion, supply and use of energy. You learn to develop, design and optimize systems with eg wind turbines, solar cells, fuel cells, power-2-x and biofuels.
SUSTAINABILITY IS A FULLY INTEGRATED PART OF ENERGY EDUCATION
Sustainability is a recurring theme in energy education. This applies to both sustainable and climate-neutral energy production, but you will also learn how to develop economically sustainable energy solutions. This can be, for example, the development of a stable electricity grid with a large proportion of renewable energy, electric cars for transport or efficient utilization of biomass resources, such as energy crops, straw and algae.
