An increasing number of companies operate in global, competitive and technologically advanced market environments and as a result, there is an increasing demand for engineers who can meet the challenges that come with globalisation and ongoing technological development. The specialisation in Operations and Innovation Management provides you with analytical and design competences and skills in strategy, technology, innovation and change, in a global context. Furthermore, you get the opportunity to build a network with industry even before graduation as the programme is characterised by a high degree of collaboration with industrial partners both at home and abroad.
In your semester projects, you will work with relevant issues in relation to operations and innovation management, that challenge you to use all of your acquired knowledge and understanding in analyzing, and developing effective solutions for real-life company problems. You and your project group will work intensively together with companies during the first two semesters. You do an academic internship at a company in the third semester, and graduate based on a master project, which is usually also done while working in a company. This gives you an excellent preparation for your career after you graduate.
