70230401 - Computer Linguistics The training of masters in the magistracy specialty is carried
out in the form of full-time education. Training in the specialty is
organized on the basis of a credit-module system. The standard duration of
the magistracy program is 2 years. A person who has fully mastered its
theoretical and practical lessons and successfully passed the final state
certification is awarded the master's qualification (level) "Computer
Linguist" and an official document(s) of the state sample of higher
education. Areas of professional activity:
70230401- Computational Linguistics The master's degree specialty "Computer Linguistics" is a specialty related to the educational areas of "Linguistics", "Fundamentals of Programming", and covers a complex of knowledge and skills in the field of philological research, linguistic computer programs and systems aimed at solving language problems, including translator programs, speech recognition systems, Uzbek speech synthesizers, programs for morphological and semantic analysis of text, creating linguistic ontologies, forming electronic dictionaries, developing linguodidactic platforms, creating language corpora and improving the National Corpus of the Uzbek language, artificial intelligence-based software, natural language processing (NLP), forming linguistic models, as well as the ability to research methods and technologies for analyzing polysemantic, multifunctional and homonym words.

- software development activities; - scientific and research activities; - organizational and managerial activities; - scientific and pedagogical activities in higher, advanced training and retraining educational institutions and pedagogical activities in secondary specialized, vocational educational institutions (in accordance with the established procedure); - Specific types of professional activities of masters trained in the specialty are determined by the higher educational institution in cooperation with interested participants in the educational process.
