Information Systems and Technologies (60610100) General description of the program Bachelor of Science is a field of study that covers a range of professional areas related to teaching subjects related to the field of study in general education and vocational education institutions, solving complex issues of information systems and technologies in industry research institutes, state administration bodies, government, society, healthcare, state and non-state enterprises, and complex issues in state and non-state institutions of professional education. Bachelors in Information Systems and Technologies are trained in full-time, evening and distance learning. The duration of study is 4 years. Educational direction and curriculum The main scientific areas studied (Algorithmic languages and programming, Mathematical analysis, Mathematical modeling, Differential equations, computer architecture, programming, artificial intelligence, etc.). During the classes, theoretical and practical components are combined. The curriculum is designed in accordance with national qualification requirements. Professional opportunities and applications In higher education, retraining and advanced training, professional education institutions. In scientific and research activities of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and branch research institutes and centers, as well as higher education institutions. In state and non-state organizations. In enterprises and organizations under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In departments and organizations whose activities are related to information protection. In computer and information technology centers of ministries and departments. In solving complex issues in state and local government bodies, defense, internal affairs and security bodies. In preschool and school education organizations, professional education institutions. Practical skills and competency development The qualification practice is aimed at strengthening theoretical knowledge in general and specialized disciplines and combining it with practical (production) processes, and at forming relevant practical skills, competencies and qualifications. The qualification practice is conducted in the field of study. Kbe able to use the basic laws of natural sciences in professional activities, apply methods of mathematical analysis and modeling, theoretical and experimental research, be able to logically, correctly, reasonably and clearly state and express thoughts, opinions, ideas, proposals, definitions and conclusions in oral and written form, while adhering to the rules and norms of the state language; be able to understand the essence of documents and works related to professional activity in one of the foreign languages and use them to an adequate extent for professional activity; be able to critically review the professional experience gained, self-develop, improve skills and change the type and nature of their professional activity, have a good understanding of potential hazards in the workplace and be able to prevent possible accidents; know the methods of collecting, storing, processing and using information and be able to make independent, well-founded decisions in their activities.
