field of philology and language teaching is carried out in full-time,
evening, and part-time forms of education. The standard duration of the
part-time bachelor's program is 5 years. Continuing education covers a range
of professional areas related to teaching foreign languages in preschool,
general secondary and secondary specialized, professional educational
organizations, state and non-state institutions, working as a specialist in
the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral scientific
research institutes, translating in state administration bodies, local and
international organizations, working in civil society institutions, mass
media and publishing houses.

scientific research institutes, mass media and publishing houses, preschool,
general secondary and secondary specialized, professional educational
organizations, state and non-state educational organizations, enterprises and

- pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical in educational institutions; -
translation; - organizational and management; - reporting, publishing and

Requirements for professional competencies.
- to know the issues related to the priority areas of state policy, to be
able to independently analyze socio-economic problems and processes; - to be
able to use information technologies in professional activities, to master
the methods of collecting, storing, processing and using information, to be
able to make independent, well-founded decisions in their professional
activities; - to be able to independently acquire new knowledge, work on
themselves and organize their work on a scientific basis; - to know the
phonetics, lexicology, morphology, syntax and the development of word
meanings of the language being studied; - to have the skills to teach the
native language and literature, as well as the main and second foreign
languages learned in educational institutions corresponding to the
specialization of the continuing education system; - to conduct
non-traditional educational activities using modern information and
pedagogical technologies; - to compile, prepare and formalize educational and
