It covers the complex of knowledge tools,
methods and techniques of human activity aimed at studying the requirements
of the application of mathematics in various branches of science and
technology and the penetration of mathematical methods into various areas of
practical activity, the practical application of mathematical tools in
solving problems in production areas, professional skills, and managerial
abilities, teaching special subjects in state and non-state institutions of
general secondary, secondary specialized vocational education (mathematics,
computer science and information technologies, fundamental and applied
mathematics, and mathematical models that make up the content of natural
sciences). The training of bachelors in the field of applied mathematics is
carried out in full-time, evening and distance learning forms. The duration
of study is 4 years.
The main scientific areas studied (Algorithmic
languages and programming, Mathematical analysis, Mathematical modeling,
Differential equations, computer architecture, programming, artificial
intelligence, etc.). During the classes, theoretical and practical components
are combined. The curriculum is designed in accordance with national
qualification requirements.
Solving complex problems in the Academy of
Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and branch research institutes,
manufacturing enterprises, higher educational institutions, departments and
organizations engaged in information technologies, mathematics and software,
non-governmental organizations in the field of applied mathematics and
information technologies and state administration departments, etc. Types of
professional activities: scientific research; project-technological;
organizational-management; production and service; pedagogical (in the system
of general secondary and secondary specialized, professional
education).
Qualification practice - is aimed at
strengthening theoretical knowledge in compulsory (specialty) subjects and
combining it with practical (production) processes, forming relevant
practical skills, competencies and qualifications; The following practices
are conducted in the educational field: Educational familiarization practice;
Production practice; Pedagogical practice; Pre-graduation practice.
Be able to use the basic laws of natural
sciences in professional activities, apply mathematical modeling, theoretical
and experimental research methods; be able to logically, correctly,
reasonably and clearly state and express thoughts, opinions, ideas,
proposals, definitions and conclusions, while adhering to the rules and norms
of the state language, both orally and in writing; be able to understand the
essence of documents and works related to professional activities in one of
the foreign languages and use them to an adequate extent for professional
activities; be able to critically review the professional experience gained,
self-develop, improve skills and change the type and nature of their
professional activities; be able to understand potential hazards in the
workplace and prevent possible accidents; know the methods of collecting,
storing, processing and using information and be able to make independent,
informed decisions in their activities; to have a holistic view of the
