Brief information about the nature and form of the program. Students who have graduated from the field of philology and language teaching: Uzbek language education can work in general secondary, secondary specialized, vocational, advanced training and retraining educational institutions, as well as in television, radio, newspapers and magazines, and folk art centers. Duration of study, form of study (full-time/part-time) and general purpose. The duration of the bachelor's program in the form of full-time education is 4 years. The duration of study in the form of part-time education is 5 years.
The main scientific areas studied are: Theory of literary studies, Uzbek folklore, history of Uzbek literature, new Uzbek literature, current literary process, foundations of Aruz and classical poetics, Navoi studies, Sufism and fiction, Comparative literary studies, and world literature. The combination of theoretical and practical components during the training - Students enrich their professional knowledge theoretically and practically through involvement in folklore, newspapers and magazines, pedagogical practices and widely apply them in the process of their professional activities.
