Educational Program Bachelor's degree training is
carried out in full-time and evening forms of education. The standard
duration of a bachelor's degree program in full-time education is 4 years.
Continuing education covers a range of professional areas related to teaching
foreign languages in preschool, general secondary and secondary
specialized, professional educational organizations, state and non-state
institutions, working as a specialist in the Academy of Sciences of the
Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral scientific research institutes,
interpreting in state administration bodies, local and international
organizations, working in civil society institutions, mass media and
publishing houses.
Objects of professional activities.
Philologist, pedagogue (main and second language) in state administration bodies, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and branch scientific research institutes, mass media and publishing houses, preschool, general secondary and secondary specialized, professional educational organizations, state and non-state educational organizations, enterprises and institutions, companies (firms).
Types of professional activities:
- pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical in educational institutions; - translation; - organizational and management; - reporting, publishing and editing in the media; - scientific research; - consulting services.
Requirements for professional competencies.
- to know the issues related to the priority areas of state policy, to be able to independently analyze socio-economic problems and processes; - to be able to use information technologies in professional activities, to master the methods of collecting, storing, processing and using information, to be able to make independent, well-founded decisions in their professional activities; - to be able to independently acquire new knowledge, work on themselves and organize their work on a scientific basis; - to know the phonetics, lexicology, morphology, syntax and the development of word meanings of the language being studied; - to have the skills to teach the native language and literature, as well as the main and second foreign languages learned in educational institutions corresponding to the specialization of the continuing education system; - to conduct non-traditional educational activities using modern information and pedagogical technologies; - to compile, prepare and formalize educational and methodological documents necessary for conducting training sessions; to have the skills to prepare articles and reviews for specialized journals; - to have the skills to purposefully search and find information about the latest scientific, literary and linguistic news, new pedagogical technologies; - to have the ability to perform technical and other types of translation; to work as a manager and administrative employee in hotels and travel companies; - to carry out correspondent and editorial work in the media, prepare independent articles, programs and broadcasts; - to have the ability to provide consulting services in areas related to teaching the main language and foreign languages learned by oneself and translation activities;
