This programme provides clinicians with a rigorous education in clinical skills, contemporary best practice, and evidence-based principles in aesthetics to ensure an optimal outcome for the patient and practitioner. You will learn from world leaders in aesthetic surgery and minimally invasive aesthetics and join the community of professionals driving innovation in the field.

This programme applies academic vigour to this rapidly growing field of medicine, offering you a recognised qualification from a top 10 university worldwide for Medicine (QS).

You will gain a thorough understanding of surgical anatomy and develop your clinical skills through cadaver-based procedural training and opportunity for observership with leading aesthetic and plastic surgeons. You will apply clinical theory to the provision of Minimally Invasive Aesthetics, Aesthetic Surgery and Regenerative Medicine.

This programme adopts blended learning principles with face to face teaching each term on pre-allocated dates to enable you to study alongside your clinical commitment.

There are two specialist pathways for students to choose from: MS Aesthetic Surgery and MS in Minimally Invasive Aesthetics. Students undertake modules to the value of 180 credits.

The programme consists of three core modules (60 credits), Two pathway specific compulsory module (60 credits) and a research project (60 credits). Students will be awarded an MS on successful completion of all five modules and research project.

A Postgraduate Diploma will be offered on successful completion of five taught modules (all core modules plus two pathway specific).

Upon successful completion of 180 credits, you will be awarded a MS in Aesthetics (Aesthetic Surgery). Upon successful completion of 120 credits, you will be awarded a PG Dip in Aesthetics (Aesthetic Surgery).

Applicants should normally be a medical graduate with a primary medical qualification that has been listed on the World Directory of Medical Schools; and a minimum two years of training in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery or Dermatological surgery.
